Blaha reported that during the event he was walking through an open agricultural field, speaking with an elderly man he later identified from archival photographs as Jaroslav Šimek, a Stříbro grain merchant who had died in 1944.

III. STATE INVESTIGATION — CZECHOSLOVAK PARAPSYCHOLOGICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE

Following the third major incident on February 19, 1962 — during which eleven workers simultaneously reported displacement events while ascending Šachta Václav II’s primary lift cage — the district management submitted a formal incident report to the Czechoslovak Ministry of the Interior.
